Product Overview

The Knob 4.76 Diameter Shaft Soft Teal - Injection Molded is a knob that comes as a part of the anesthesia delivery machine. It is used as an encoder and is attached to the shaft. The angular movement of the knob is transferred to the shaft. An encoder converts the rotary movement of the shaft into signals. It is made of a thermoplastic resin known as Nylon, which is resistant to chemicals and is a very strong material. It consists of a brass bushing and is filled with 13% glass as a reinforcing material, thus improving the rigidity, hardness and strength. This in turn helps provide resistance to external damages. It has groves all around which provide a good grip. It withstands a 30 lbs pull test for 5 seconds after installation in the hub. It provides an advanced tuning and is highly sensitive and provide a wide range of inputs according to needs. It comes as a component in medical equipment such as Aisys CS2, Avance CS2 and S/5 AISYS anesthesia delivery system.
