Product Overview

This M4 size 16 mm long Flat Head Socket Screw is used for flush mounting of sections of Maternal -Infant Care equipment, where one part slides over another part or one part is mounted on another. This screw is made up of stainless steel with a nyloc insert. Stainless steel makes it resistant to corrosion and rust and nyloc (a nylon component) locks the nut into position on the bolt. Nyloc prevents the nut from getting loose because nylon is tightly wedged into the bolt threads.Standard nut-and-bolt fasteners can become loose or even work themselves free over time through too much vibration. The nyloc nut allows a bolt to be tightened without fear of it loosening under almost any condition. A nyloc nut , also referred to as a nylon-insert lock nut , polymer-insert lock nut , or elastic stop nut , is a kind of locknut with a nylon collar insert that resists turning. These Nylok screws are compatible to be used in the assemblies of GE's Maternal Infant Care equipments such as Giraffe Incubator systems.
